Selected EUSFLAT Student grants

 

The student selected for the EUSFLAT Student grants have been:

Camera ready copies on March 10th

The accepted papers must send the camera ready copies on March 10th., following the next instructions:

.- Springer’s templates should be used. Either Word or LaTeX templates are acceptable.

.- Fill and sign (electronic sign is not allowed) the Consent to Publish form: copyright CCIS_CH

.- If available, please include the authors ORCID number (www.orcid.org) in the address information and in the paper’s headers.

.- Authors are advised not to shorten the references and to put DOIs wherever possible, as this would allow for correct citation attribution.

.- All source files (LaTeX files with all the associated style files, special fonts and eps files, or Word files) AND the final pdf AND the Consent to Publish form should be compressed and uploaded as a single zip file.
For Latex users, references are to be supplied as bbl files or included in the .tex file instead of the bib file, in order to avoid omission of data while conversion from bib to bbl.

.- Please do not forget to allot a corresponding author, who must be available to carry out a proof check of the paper. The corresponding author is given 72 hours to check the paper.

EUSFLAT Student Grants

The EUSFLAT Society will offer grants of 350 euro each to support students for attending IPMU 2018. The candidates must send a message to ipmu2018@uca.es with the required data for the evaluation (see main criteria). The deadline for sending requests is March 11th.

The candidate must be author or co-author and presenter of an accepted paper, and (s)he must be an EUSFLAT student member (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) at the time of application. The Student Grant responsible on the EUSFLAT board will make an evaluation of the applicants.

The main criteria will be:

– referee reports on the paper,
– time since previous grant,
– fair distribution among institutes and countries,
– EUSFLAT membership of supervisor(s), etc.

Previous grant holders of these grants can be seen in the EUSFLAT web page. The deadline of the early registration fee will be delayed for the applicants, until the grant holders will be announced. Best regards, Chairs IPMU 2018.

Extended deadline

Due to multiple requests, we have decided to extend the deadline for the submission of papers to IPMU 2018 until January 15th and modify the rest of dates as following:


  • Submission of full papers: November 22nd EXTENDED: January 15th, 2018 
  • Notification of acceptance: February 1st, February 20th, 2018
  • Camera ready copies due: March 1st, March 10th, 2018

Accepted full papers will be published in CCIS – Springer

The conference proceedings will be published in Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) with Springer. CCIS is abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, Scopus.
CCIS volumes will also be submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings (Web-of-Science).
